I started researching my family tree 20yrs. ago, before computers really came 
on line. Some of you might remember the joys of being in a dark room searching 
the hidden secrets of Microfiche films, and what an elation when the details 
of the record being searched for appeared. I have spent many hours on 
research, but now wish the fruits of my labours to maybe help someone 
else,maybe you! I have had help from many quarters, I don't need to mention 
names because I am sure they all know who they are. I have always been 
surprised to find how helpful most people are. Certain members of the older 
generations of my family,my father included, were reluctant to discuss the 
family, just passing the comment "There are too many skeletons." The skeletons 
have now been found in greater numbers than even he ever new about.
